Do you actually have a choice in that company? Will they let you stay even if you don't accept FT? Most companies offer FT to consultants either because they don't want to lose them or because its cost effective. | ||

stock options like employee stock purchase plan lu emanna vunnayya? plus in an year you will realize that you made the right decision... i recently took a consulting position after 9 years being FT.. though i make more than what I used to, on a long run it's lot different than FT.. before I take my next FT will be testing waters for few more months.. i think consulting should be a stop gap rather than long term.. | ||

FT lo that's a start.. and over a period of time you will grow in the organization and be able to play the politics and all, plus bonus and salay increase year over year.. which is very unlikely being a consultant... vacation is an important thing as well.. if you add up everything, FT is better unless you are making about 100bucks or over an hour | ||
