its not new for us ... India failed many times in big occasions like this and will fail... the more you care about failure the more you fail... we are too protective n narcissistic by our nature... we are bound to fail like this.. its ok.. If there is a person that I would blame for yesterday's debacle, that is Kohli. Being a captain and best batsman in the world, he was supposed to make at least 30 runs. It will take a couple of days to forget. For one, I have binge watched some netflix to distract my mind. Today I am watching the second semifinal. I want Eng vs NZ in final. They are in right direction. If there is a person that I would blame for yesterday's debacle, that is Kohli. Being a captain and best batsman in the world, he was supposed to make at least 30 runs. Very disappointing stuff from him. But at least we lost fighting - a good fight from jadeja and dhoni. 18 runs margin is not bad. An losing to NZ is not as painful as losing against Aus for me. NZ is a decent team with decent cricketers. | ||

if you take the game as the game , we will not have any issues. You make him god when he scores and wins matches. You make him Damon when he does not perform. issues are with you not with players. You should also credit the opposite team for their efforts. Remember every day is not our day and it is not going to be the same. Also when you reach playoff/knockouts all your league matches wins and scores will become zero. you have to restart. You cannot calculate win and lose based on league matches. You have to rise to the occasion. else you will fall apart. India should have lost one of the games against Afghan or Bangla. It would have brought some fear in captain and players, that would have made them prepare more mentally and physically. They took NZ semifinal for granted. that was huge advantage for the NZ. They capitalized on it. Indian players body language was careless in first 10 overs. They did not play good shots on good balls. It killed the game for India. that is where we need coach like Gary and captain like Dhoni. | ||
