Ofcourse, Nobody is perfect including Gandhi but his legacy is unmatched. He brought the nation together in an era where there was no Mass and social media like today. He was the Crux of the Freedom movement along with several other leaders who we should celebrate. They were self less and dedicated their lives for the Nation. no one questions their greatness and the work they did, but people question their tactics.. we all are paying the price for strategix mistakes of Nehru.. no one is perfect including them.. we cant just deify them and treat them as if they are holy and made no mistakes.. they might not have made it intentionally but our country is paying the price. I dont know why we are not qualified? Our country is always about free speech, look around in db, how many of us are qualified to judge movies, sports, politics etc? Free speech is the basis for a strong society. so we should look back, analyze and figure out the correct course of action otherwise how can we learn and move forward? And yes, we talk about Gandhi and nehru more than others and criticize them because they were the fore front leaders.. for gods sake Nehru was the first PM who ruled India for 15 yrs and what he did in thos 15 yrs affects us even till date - he was in a very reposnsible position and will be criticized same goes for Gandhi as well Im pretty sure 20-25 yrs down the lane, same criticism will go for Modi as well - ppl will look back and judge his legacy | ||
