Amaravathi is a just plain piece of land with zero infrastructure and connectivity. You can't expect it to grow like Hyderabad in 5 years especially when there is no boom in a particular sector. Even before IT evolution began, Hyderabad was already a domicile for many organizations like BHEL, HAL, NRSA, IDPL, ICRISAT, BDL, DRDL/DRDO, Advanced Data Research Institute (ADRIN), HMT etc etc. Since Hyderabad is a capital city, it also had the head offices of every government department - R&B, Irrigation, Police, High court, Forests, Endowment, Revenue, Panchayati Raj, Finance, Industries & Infrastructure etc. For CBN, he had to expand Cyberabad, a completely underdeveloped area within a city that was previously very well endowed with infrastructure and connectivity. While in the case of Amaravathi, there is neither IT boom nor existing infrastructure to support a super rapid growth like it happened in case of Hyderabad.
Bangalore was already far ahead in terms of IT. Lots of non-Kannada folks used to go to Bangalore for better opportunities in electronics and IT. "Right time at the right place" unna, CBN delivered. Fully developed super city vachi, KCR em chesaadu development in the last 5 years. Forget about new businesses, roads position kooda improve cheyyaleka poyadu. | ||

Yes its great achievement, I really appreciate his work here. but people expecting more from him with his 40+ experience. The "temporary" (word) buildings killed it.
