sad state of affairs.. I still cant understand how one believes what comes in social media. there should be some credibility to the person conveying the message. I would rather get news from Known biased source than unknown source. with Known entity we can use our filters | ||

Even people are over-reacting. Not just Media. Full scale festival celebrations and Celebrities forced to tweet. Branding them as Anti-National if they don't. Cut cheste, Still we don't know if we really killed any terrorists. It's become a Prestige issue for everyone and emotions are taking control of the situation. They can't digest the fact that Pakistan has our soldier. So they don't want to accept. Media is just playing to the Public's sentiment. | ||

International community is definitely with us. Not denying that. But every statement from our Govt, Army and Major Media houses shall be scrutinized very carefully. Media should be very careful and responsible reporting facts. If they jump the gun with crazy breaking news, there shall cease to be any difference between us and Pak's media. | ||

Pak might not be trustworthy...but we can't say they are liars in every instance. Real wars are not fought on battlegrounds but on the diplomacy tables in front of international community. We shudnt lose our diplomatic advantage by denying some facts just as Pak or we wud be seen in a different light alongside Pak. | ||

Since Morning, our Media denied any of our soldiers being captured by Pak. They even said Pak is a liar in this regard. Now the moment our Army gave a statement that our Pilot is with them, and despite the Pilot's video, they now say Pak is making a show. Why does our media try to deny the obvious? Let them try to highlight the pilot and rally people for his safe return. When there is a war, there shall be attacks and counter attacks. No point denying facts and saying that only we are having uphand always. |
