I was in class 5  RamaKrishna studios Tarnaka lo shooting. The team treated us very well. First eat then go to makeup room. Hari Krishna managed everything on the sets. NTR was very punctual and professional, when I look back at those times. Meenakshi Seshadri as Menaka was the oomph factor. Amazon Prime lo choodadam jarigindi. DB lo and bayata cheppinattu antha bad gaa emi ledu. Not sure why this turned out to be a disaster commercially. Na varaku, I actually liked the movie. Sans all the nuances. It provided a rare glimpse into NTRs journey to films and his growth as TFIs biggest star. I watched the movie from the director's view point. There were few unwarranted elevations and could have been toned down. But it was Krish and Bala's choice. I was picturing NTR mostly even though I saw Balayya on screen. He gave a controlled performance, but when you compare to NTR he is not even 10% I thought. VB was good and rest of supporting cast did their roles as per the script. It's a well made documentary, in one way. And as a NTR fan I liked it. It was a nostalgic feeling when the director connected to the hit movie scenes. I am not sure of what would have made this movie better, but I think it was a sincere attempt. A one time watch. I did have the luck to actually act in NTRs movie in 1991 as a child artiste for 3 days. I feel happy to recollect those days, and to be a tiny tiny part of NTR's legacy }I am struck by the lightning of love and burnt beyond repair - Florentino Ariza |
