Less or low sodium diet is always good
But again if you want to look just fit and flat tummy

Go a head eat once in a month or so

But remember one thumb rule eat small quantity
And never eat full of stomach.
For example before you eat however your stomach
After you eat still it should be the same. If the size
Changed then you ate more than required

don't do Cardio at all. I do Strength Training with Weights and Walk on the treadmill for 15 mins for Fat Loss. I was able to maintain same weight, Reduce fat % and build Muscle. For this, we around 100 grams of Protein. If it is possible to get 100g through Natural means, well and good. But I couldn't, So taking Whey protein powder helped a lot.

In my Experience, Protein Diet helps to cut down Fat because body burns more calories to break down protein. Worked for me.

I don't do Cardio at all. I do Strength Training with Weights and Walk on the treadmill for 15 mins for Fat Loss. I was able to maintain same weight, Reduce fat % and build Muscle.

Macro Nutrient Balance is most important than specific Diet restrictions.
