Regarding the Labuschagne dismissal, Kohli and Rahane were at two short midwickets and just before the wicket ball, Kohli had stationed himself at short mid-on, moving Rahane to the squarer short midwicket. Labuschagne was earlier driving down the ground. Kohli cut that option down, forcing the batsman to go squarer, which resulted in the wicket. It has been an extremely tough initiation for Pant. His footwork was not up to it for the late movement in England. His batting was soon found out to be either six or block. Against good bowling in testing conditions, he didn't seem to have a shot to get off the strike. I am happy and positive. I am pragmatic based on facts. Pitch is still flat. No hope for pace bowlers. Ball is not turning much. But pitch will deteriorate further and takes turn from 4th day. However, last part of 4th day and 5th day are hard. We have very good chance of winning. Dude learn before commenting. | ||

Common, Indian batsmen are easily capable. We have two best players in the world Pujara and Kohli. But the problem with Starc is he is more of a seamer than swinger of the ball. He does not swing the ball much. So it is critical for these kinds of bowlers to bowl in the right spot. Starc has mostly bowled short or not in line. | ||

That was a historic blunnder by India to include him in the test in spite it was not a spin track. We can't blame him for this. He blowled well against West Indies in the second test. This pitch will become more difficult from 4th day. I think there will be resistance from Australia today. Don't expect much. We need to get them out below 400.
