so people are not necessarily criticizing him directly, but going thru the circumstances around it..

Congress has equally bad record for handling riots - their default way of handling minorities is to throw some incentives .. its high time we should do away with such a incentive strategy.. irrespective of Cong/BJP or whoever comes to power.. minorities should integrate to Majority as much as possible..

if a non-hindu enters tirumala, they are required to make entry in a register - which is a custom temple follows..

I think you should question yourself.. is there a reason some people could be concerned while you are not? that should answer pretty much what you are asking .

These are not things that can be solved by individuals one at a time - just hope sanity prevails, we as Hindus are more tolerant than other religions in general, and Indian muslims are usually much tolerant than muslims from other regions... but when thre is a question of "God and Religion", things can easily get out of control.
