exactly...asalu who the hell makes dum biryani in a instant pot when he has a oven... biyyam ni sala salaa kaage neeti lo vesi...after 10 minutes vaarchaali into a tray and then put the chicken masala mix on top of it and then put the tray in the oven for 20 minutes..asalu instant pot for dum biryani vaadatam is a crime... | ||

Don’t risk eating partially cooked chicken ! If you want to do biriyani in IP do Pakki biryani ... you cook the meat and then add partially cooked rice and put dum .. Try this at your own risk -I have not done this in IP but used this in a reg pressure cooker Put the IP on sauté ... add oil and marinated chicken etc. and let it come to a boil and cook for 8-10 mins while you parboil the rice in a separate pot ...strain the rice Now add the aromatics( mint, cilantro ) over the meat , spread the rice , close pot , and cook on low pressure for 30 mins The foolish man seeks happiness in the distance; the wise grows it under his feet : James Oppenheim | ||
