True...unless a miracle happens The reason I bought up Satya and Manohar's name was- They are both personally close to RG. Both were frustrated with local Cong leadership. But they were patient - thinking some kind of an understanding will materialize between Cong, JS and Commies. After seeing the failed attempt and Cong getting close to TDP - they moved on to JS. | ||

But how do you explain this landslide? 77% voting to the ruling party - and that when 3000 farmers committed suicide in the last 4.5 years - unemployment is at an all time high.... here must be something emotional whcih overrode all of tehse...or some positive scheme which nullified the negative impact. | ||

But..if you analyse deeper....Kutami did well in the border constituencies - and here the TDP cadre added to the Cong vote bank. As you moved up, TDP cadre went away in the last 4.5 yrs and the emotional factors like "CBN - Andhra suppression", came into being. And now the TDP cadre are feeling bad about defeating Thummala Nageswara Rao :-) | ||

RG's stake in Andhra - very low.... For them Telangana was at best a tough fight and they needed lots of luck.... And if the local state level leaders of AP )are still silently hoping that Congress will invite Jagan again...What options does RG have? If Cong comes to power in 2019, then Pallam Raju will be made RS MP from some other state and he will be made a Union Minister. So hope for it. Forget about Congress revival in the Telugu States - especially in AP. | ||
