Kedarnath Disaster : Calamity and Miracle Weird but true facts about the calamity that struck. Kedarnath township was actually becoming mega corrupted. Instances of prostitution had become a common sight everyday. Alcohol was common. No question about that. Girls from Delhi and the local village girls were used in hotels for giving customer satisfaction. The temple authorities were going corrupt. Well too corrupt. A few religious people say that the sins had increased manifold. This maybe a reason, maybe not. Let's go into a case with more evidence. An ancient temple, like Kedarnath, Known as the Dhari Devi Temple is situated in Shrinagar. So, when the Uttrakhand Hydroelectric Power Commission wanted to move the old statue of the Goddess Kali, many people gave an example of the calamity which the Kedarnath Township faced back in 1933. Back in 1933 a similar calamity struck the Kedarnath township but, there were less people then. So a few people suffered. But on the 15th of June, the Hydroelectric Board decided to move the statue. On the night of the 16th and the 17th morning, the water from the cloud burst struck the township. A few stones coming with the water aligned themselves in such a way that the huge waves actually got diverted from the track of the temple and passed from both the sides of the temple. The main temple isn't even wounded. The agricultural minister of Uttarakhand, Harak Singh went to Kedarnath Township with one other person. He saw there a huge bull near the temple chewing some grass. This was recorded in the video and often flashed in many news channels. This Bull was timidly looking into the camera and often looking towards the dead bodies of the people scattered in the front yard of the Kedarnath Temple. After roaming the whole township when these people returned to the temple to see the Bull, It was gone. Nowhere to be seen. The Green leaves of Bel on the submerged Shiva Ling is also another controversial topic. After all the water inside the Kedarnath Temple, how could lush green Bel leaves be there. No plants anywhere and we have got this lush green Bel leaves on the Shivling. After all this, one can only wonder and ponder over these strange supernatural events which took place there. Existence of a God maybe a controversial topic but, we cannot deny what we see from our own eyes and become witness to all these supernatural events. A heavy rain was surely predicted by the meterological department, but not a cloud burst. Cloud burst was never in the scenario and no one actually expected it. But it did happen and happened ironically over the place where the temple of "the destroyer", Shiva is. Too much of irony points out to real fact and the proof that, everything we read and learn about our religion, be it about Muslims, Christians, Sikhs and any other religion. These all are sacred and we should learn to respect their place in our society. Overruling them or being atheists is not the solution. It will only bring more distress and calamities in the society. Because knowingly or unknowingly you can disturb the position of certain temples, mosques or churches of the Creator and he will keep reminding you that he exists. Every Time. |
