As per Manu dharmam and earliest vedas, caste are not assigned by birth but by the dharmam each individual follows....but once varnashramam lo higher stages lo vunnavaallu redefined it as karma and "inheritance" by birth and never allowed lower caste to reach higher.... you are missing one point, Castes has Social acceptance / agreements. If you start IT Kulam and people accepts it, then it will become one of the caste maybe after few generations. But People has to stand on the stand of IT Kulam. You need to frame rules and regulations what "IT Kulam" is all about. | ||

I read some where that Vedas allow conversion from one Varna to another. While different castes form a Varna, why not Caste to Caste conversion possible? If thats the case, then all YKP supporters in our state should openly admit that JKJ is x'ian. Why cant one convert from one lower caste to another, upper to lower, lower to upper etc? If I am interested in Vedas I will learn them through books, by enrolling in course and I even can get a certificate. If I build a temple and practice all that Bramhin priests do in temple, then I still would not be accepted as Brahmin and people will call me non-Bramhin priest. What the hell is this?
