few more: - when RCB came on to the field, kohli came to the boundary and the crowd in that corner roared big, DJ announced hero of the RCB team for today ... he got so pumped that he was a live wire on the field .. when ever gilly/symo hit a shot, he would run to that area from one end to the other end of the ground and replace the fielder there ... - shivraj kumar appeared on the big screen and they played a kannada song ... cheer gilrs got on to the dias quickly and bowler had to wait for a while for the next ball ... - just when the umpires came out in the beginning, the music pumped and .. first DC cheer girls came out and ran in two groups in two directions around the ground and stadium erupted .. just when it subsided, RCB cheer girls came out took a lap around and this time the noise was much more louder .. i am sure they might have felt they were doing some rock show, nothing less than that ... - after the cheer girls, kannada actress ramya went round the stadium in a mini-jeep, and people were disappointed thinking initially that it was deepika ... - deepika and jr mallya came on screen several times, just when rohit got out .. jr mallya showed V symbol .. and crowed celebrated prematurely a win that never came by .... - when uthappa stumped gilly, kumble roared and .. the song that went on speakers was our own Uppi dada's song (mastu mastu papa undi) ... - mallya spent lavishly ... there were free bees ... beer look alike hooters .. flyers ... jerseys for 300rs ... to ensure that the whole stadium is painted RCB .. it is a jam packed stadium, to the brim ... | ||

Man .. whatta feeling .. i watched several matches in chinnaswamy std before .. never this kind of experience ... it is very lively ... from evening itself, the city was painted red .. the crowd around the stadium almost all wearing the RCB jearseys ... 2-3 kms of traffic around the stadium in all directions ... everybody parked their vehicles in nearby places/stadiums and walked ... one would just get a feeling that we just entered a pub, except that there is no beer .. 10k watts systems .. pumping music ... when u watch the match on tv , in between the over break ... all that u see is ads .. in the stadium, it is just entertainment, non-stop .. the electronic hoardings on the boundary, they make one full circle shift, giving a feeling that stadium rotated .... pumping music, DJs egging on the crowd, cheer-girls in 6 corners go boogey-woogey .... the match was fantastic ... few highlights ... - ross taylor kurrod ki jeevitham lo antha pedda reception vachi undadu ... he probably got overwhelmed and got out quickly .. it was one hell of a buzz ... - dravid no.3 ragane .. crowd went berserk ... in fact, in the stadium they sold most of the jerseys with dravid name/number ... worth 2k each ... - when virat kohli was in full song, in the stadium ... they started the all popular 3-mar music on the drums .... cheer girls went berserk and so did the crowd, even the old junta were on their feet dancing ... - uthappa was anyway popular in bangalore ..but kallis is the darling of the masses ... they started singing straight away, kallis tune and went on very long in to the innings ... - when dc opted to field, dj could be barely audible ... he was trying to announce ... kumble made gestures to the crowd that rcb is batting - steyn got so pumped with crowd behind him, he bowled consistently 150+ ... - when symonds hit that sweet six, stadium erupted with symonds go back jeers ... |
