I too consider Music, singing and writing as three most complex and fulfilling arts compared to maths/science. Maths is beautiful in its own way, it tends to be mechanical. If I were to born again, I would any day choose music/singing or writing as my career choice if I am gifted with that talent.. Without these three arts, half of the population would go mad/restless in modern world while the remaining half would be addicted to some kind of drugs.. This is a very good thread by Mpv.. My inspiration list is too long to count ..from my childhood to today. It involved books, movies, teachers and scientists.. My life changing inspiration came from my Inter lecturers. While I had good teachers before, its just I opened up and started observing more carefully during that time.. One lecturer would not hesitate to say he is wrong.. One lecturer would not give up till he solved the problem, even if it meant to take a week for him to solve it. One lecturer would want the answers to be precise and perfect.. One lecturer would show blind eye even if I make unintentional mistake so I do not feel bad.. | ||

Bushu : She is the 1st person I ever googled other than myself I actually tracked her down in B.G (before google) days and made it to within a few steps of her house and developed cold feet. if I met her then, I might have gone total psycho! I did find her on google some time around 2002, but after that I confined her to my mind. did not want to learn any further about her incase it ruins the myth/dream that is CD aparna, to me. coming to the inspiration, something about her interviews in the newspapers struck a chord with me and over the course of a couple of years, talking to my friends and cousins, her legend grew..... all sorts of anecdotes about her hardwork/genius just took up some major real estate in my mind.as I said, I stopped the google search in 02 as I was afraid it may ruin one of the major stories of my childhood. my parents and my siblings - just pure selfless love! i am blessed to be related to them. My friends - proud of each one of them. another person to inspire me was my cousin. He remains my hero to this day. talking to or about him, just makes me feel so confident even in the most depressing of times. The next person I remember is a girl called C.D. Aparna. she topped both eamcet and intermediate sometime in early 90s. read so much about her and her interviews. I twice had a chance to meet her and I can remember how nervous that made me. I avoided the meeting both times. I dont think I was that nervous, even when I kissed for the 1st time in my life. I wonder if she even knows that there is guy who has relied on her for inspiration in the toughest times of his life. to quote arthur conan doyle " to me, she is always THE woman". the 2nd gal i fell in love with - unrequited love, but totally honored to have known her and been part of her life. on the cricket and tennis front, which forms a major part of my life, Tendulkar, wasim akram, shane warne and Federer.
