I honestly don't know the answer. This is a long winded reply and I may get a ton load of single stars :-) In a typical indian scenario (not the current generation, current situation in Indian cities) there is no such thing as dating and almost everyone is supposed to be a virgin when they get married. Every since so many Indian boys & girls started moving out of their parents for education or work or whatever the pre-marital relationships are on the rise and only in the last 10 years or so people are more focussed on could she have slept with somebody before. In Indian culture girl is expected to be a virgin and no one seems to really mention that when it comes to a guy. At least unless the boy is a true casanova no one knows about it or cares about it. So, may be it's our cultural upbringing where girls are supposed to submissive and take what they get, or, may be the expectation of not many people sleep around - - it must makes girls not say stuff I want a virgin boy. They say stuff like I don't want someone who drinks, someone who smokes, but they never say things like I want a virgin boy. I could be wrong, i could be wrong. So, don't scream at me. At the end of the day I think people who are realistic in their expectation have the best time in life. Who cares if she or he slept with someone before - as long as she/he can make me happy in my marriage, it's all good - ani anukunte life easy. But, that's easier said than done. | ||

The latest sensation to rock the entire media world, entertainment world, spiritual world and even the common man is the nexus between the noted celebrities and their sexual partners. Well, it would have been fair if they were married but we are talking about some of the most responsible citizens holding very important positions. Thanks to technology and the enthusiastic and controversy thirsty channels, many sting operations are underway and such corrupt men are being exposed. However, there is a flip side to this story. One look at the Swamiji video or the N D Tiwari video shows the men in proper focus without any confusion but the women who they get involved with, they are not shown. Why are their faces being blurred is the question posed by many. Well, it is not about the curiosity to know who they are. This is the question which is being raised by many men in order to understand why there is a disparity in this matter. Women talk so much about equality and a major hue and cry comes out in the name of domestic violence, sexual harassment and what not. So, are men the only culprits? Are the women innocent? There are several instances where men have been taken for a ride by women but unfortunately or ironically, in this so-called man dominated world, women definitely have an upper hand at critical situations. This in fact is rather unfair and it is the men who should voice out their opinion. Technically, there is no logic in hiding the faces of the prostitutes. These powerful men may well be a black mark on the society but the means to these unethical acts are women and these videos clearly show how the sexual acts are mutual. It is about time the feminists think about these issues before they give the huge outcry on the injustice being done on women. |
