Free ga REDCROSS and/or any other organizations ivvaru. I'm not Chiranjeevi fan but please don't comment on Blood bank. No one can give blood for free. They are not making money but collecting part of the costs invloved in storing. "You never know when you need blood" Only few places in Hyderbad has "red cells or plasma" storage places and CCT blood bank is one of them. It's very expensive to store. | ||

More than 500 fans of Megastar Chiranjeevi donated blood in the Chiranjeevi Blood Bank, to prove allegations made on the blood bank as false. Allegations on the working and management of the blood bank have been questioned many a times. Producer and trustee of the Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust, that manages the Blood Bank, Allu Arvind, came forward and asked the Government authorities to come and check the operations of the blood bank themselves. He even invited people who are in doubt, to come and check for themselves Allu Arvind rubbished the allegations and said that the Blood Bank was running smoothly thanks to constant patronage of fans and others. He went on to add saying that such false allegations were made for personal and political mileage. To support for the cause, the hundreds of Chiranjeevi fans came forward to prove the allegations. The Chiranjeevi Blood Bank has been active since 1998. It was awarded the ‘Best Voluntary Blood Bank’ by Andhra Pradesh Government for 2002 and 2003. | ||
