This I contest...Bill wanted to make India the center of his attention for the sheer size of the computer savvy middle class just like how small segment car makers target India now.... What stopped him to target say IBM or HP or Intel ?? Why MS??? Simple MS was in an expansion spree is Asia.....and esp in India.....He lobbied his way anedhi clearly evident... I can't buy the argument that he won Bill's laudes for his vision which is BS...presenting SOP's is a trivial exercise and at the end of the day Bill will play with the central govt....and CBN did well to lobby there strongly.... I dont consider it a big thing to present before my CEO if it doesn't involve a reason to fire me....I actually detest doing so...before ppl with no technical expertise in my field.....owing to the nature of my work...
