Hiding something before marriage to persons character/habits or health issues may lead to extreme situations. I think mistake and blame should be on the party that hidden that to other person be it girl or boy. In case boy hides something, it becomes huge sympathy issue for girl and it goes beyond limits. However if boy is victim people try to think on sympathy terms and expect mutual co-operation until the issue resolved and they never show that much sympathy to boy.
In my close cirlce of friends and family, three extreme cases girl's family cheated boy happened and one guy cheated girl happened or happening in front of my eyes.
1. my cousin two years younger than me... she is very good at studies.. married to my senior in our college. my classmate and best wanted to marry my cousin, but my cousin is not interested. this GUY is good to his family, but he was a crook inside. As soon as he married, he harassed my cousin who is also working without food and locked her in house without sending to work. took out cash and cards for days and made her to come to his terms. After 4 years duel she divorced and staying in PG now. She did not even spent one month happily with that idiot.
now comes the girls:
1. my distant cousin, who was settled in US big time with gas station business got an alliance with a distant relative girl. married with in 10 days he realized she is mentally ill and she is on medication during marriage. he tried his best to cure her health with all money for 2 years and tried for visa 4 times. rejected because of her behavior. he gave US and went back to india. he had to pay huge money to settle this. his career screwed up and their family knew her health issue. they are bit strong, so could not do anything.
2. this is extreme. my buddy and colleague married to a girl arranged marriage. she had some major health issue, they hidden it. just after marriage it is visible and this guy shocked. not told. within few weeks she came to US complications started. she died because of same health reason. my friend faced all that trauma and his life is scrwed up.
3. this is another case of girl's character screwed marriage in less than 30 days of marriage. it happened very recently. my friend married to a girl in delhi who is mid level manager in a high end consulting firm. he is from another northie and well to do family. she had multiple relationships and she continued it with her company CEO even after marriage. the third day she landed in USA is her birthday. Since the day she came here, he used to call her from work and she did not pick phone. She brought her own laptop from india to chat and maintain all that contacts. on third day she received roses and gift from amazon. when he went to lunch to wish her, she is chatting through web with roses beside and gifts all over. She refused to explain and she bluffed him and out of shock she used another US SIM to talk to his BF. Just after engagement her behavior was suspicious, but he could not identify her character. He contacted her brother and did some search and found her 2nd relationship. When she was found red handed doing that, she cried and wanted to go to India. So he sent her to India. For marriage he bought a luxury car brand new, no loan all cash - had to leave, he had setup new apt home with more than 10K all new furniture. When this is happening, his employment was terminated by company with four weeks notice to revoke H1. He was totally depressed and in shock by that time. He left car at his brother house and thrown everything out and left to india to file for divorce. Now girls parents demanding huge ransom in crores to settle divorce. Girls dad is ex-DSP from bihar and he is very cunning. My friends career is screwed, he is young, he lost H1B visa, job and lot of savings he made after his MS.
Now you guys decide how much impact it will have on someone if someone cheat just before marriage. In this case the Boy is cheated.

after reading initiators first post about his friend's state.
my opinion is simple...
no one is exception for mistakes...
if girl did not tell about her lipo processing to that guy then its girls blunder mistake...
when you are marrying your health not only just imp for you it also imp to yours life partner. based on this she must inform that guy b4 her marriage.
oka vela marraige aipoi and she did not tell then its guys decision whether he is ok to contine or not. If he cannot then he has to give back all the stuff to that girl, which he took from that girl's parents in the form of dowry or etc.. any financial or in the form of assets.
but at the same time he dont have to give any xtra compensation bcos as its not his mistake.
if he is not willing to give that girls stuffy then he is also doing blunder mistake...

You can't force physical attraction or lack of it on someone. At the same time the guy can't be so superficial that he wants a divorce b'coz he can't handle how she looks.
If everything else is compatible they should figure out a way to work this out. ayina divorce file chesaka one year separate ga vunte whether she wants to divorce or not he will be granted kada? I guess she can contest and if she is in California she will get half of his assets. Wonder if he wants to go thro all that.
