Even I liked bharavadweepam and Aditya 369. I saw Aditya 369 countless # of times when I was a kid. BUT I wouldn't dare comparing those movies with MD in terms of grandeur and photography/costumes/bg score etc old id - balapam | ||

Mari too much mama Balayya did couple of movies bharavadweepam/Aditya 369 inga arjuna vijayam dobbindi gani lekunte inka konni chesevaadu. Bharava dweepam aa time lo trend setter .. Venky /Nag not fit for these roles at least nag attempted annamayya and ramadasu and thus ensured no warrior getup . But he did a hindi movie .agnivarsha or some thing ... which failed miserably at box office Chiru did JVAS which is a fantasy movie.. aa time lo audience accept cheyyagaligevi .. with the limited graphics available to TFI Ekkado munigi ikkada tela | ||

I felt climax was ok..appatike 3hrs kookunnam theatre la. Charan was considered as a great warrior and the villan was no match to him. In the flash back episodes, even after killing 100 men, he kills the villan in few secs. Inga climax la fressh ga untaad..1 min la khatam chesad. old id - balapam | ||

Leaving the story and logics aside, the movie was entertaining. First half of the movie was not so bad and second half is very good. RM really impressed me this time. Kudos to the Art work and photography technicians..the sets were looking really grand..like never before in tollywood. Keeravani background music has shades of bg score from crouching tiger hidden dragon and other chinku movies but it was really good and elevated the scenes. Charan kurrod was ok in the 1st half but he did good job in the flash back episoded. I think he knows his limitations with height and face value..so he put in extra effort. His body language and physique as a warrior was convincing. More than the fight where he kills 100 ppl, I liked the scene when he was introduced in the arena..awesome!!!!! Another one was when the horse comes for his rescue. Kajal was really cute and apt as a princess. Chemistry b/n Charan and Kajal was good. old id - balapam | ||

Bomma North Bergen lo chusa..theatre is far better than Edison touring talkies. Seating wasn't comfy but sound effects and screen size is good. Telungu movie ee matram comforts tho chusi chala rojulu ayindy  old id - balapam | ||

I went to movie with these preconceived notions: 1. RM can't impress me although he was very successful so far. I liked his previous movies in bits n pieces..never liked his gory scenes and mean characterization of heroines. 2. Charan is just a newbie with below avg looks and acting skills. 3. Music is just horrible. I deleted the songs without even trying to listening secong time. 4. Finally, OT's review made me go with very low expectations.
