Nenu maatladinollu chala mandi ilane chepparu. First half anywhere between 2 to 3.5, but for second half everybody gave at least 4.5. Movie is a definite hit. | ||

Friends, For the last couple of days I've been reading the reviews and threads about magadheera in this db. I was left confused. But looking at the unanimous hit talk in AP from TV9 and other videos I decided to go and watch it. Here is my review... Firstly the negatives... This is my first movie of Charan. He doesnt look good face wise. Rest all he has done very well. Fights, Dances etc... The much hyped bangaru kodipetta is a flop. He looks so ugly with that pony-tail. Yuck! Now coming to the movie. The first few minutes is ok and somewhat boring at times. The idea of heroine teasing hero by hiding her identity is good but the way it is handled is boring and can be done much better. But once the villan enters the movie is good. The first encounter between hero and villan is handled very well! Overall first half is above average. The actual movie starts from the second half. I was awestruck, mesmerized and simply spellbound by what was unfolding before me. Be it the settings, the chases, the war everything. The entire episode of the 400 year history is simply mindblowing. It is like about 70% of the second half. Even what follows after the past-life is good. The entire second half is very very good. There may be minor glitches but who cares, I have never seen such a visual grandeur in my life. Overall This film, especially the second half is a true masterpiece. It is the BEST telugu film I have ever watched. Please dont miss it.
