You can advise the elderly to go for yearly check up for Physicals Blood Test to check for Sugar, Cholestrol, Thyroid, Liver Panel Test and Kidney Function Test. Check the BP. For Women yearly Papsmear and Mammogram, for women I would advise strongly to check the Haemoglobin levels and Thyroid levels in Blood(specially Indian women have this problem) There will be local County Government Hospitals who do the tests for free and some Hospitals or Outpatient centers charge very less for uninsured people. You can approach local Desi doctors and some American Doctors affiliated with local charities and churches. They will come forward to volunteer to work on a weekend. | ||
