come on....u cant find that much poetry of finding luv in eyes in real life just like dat...u got to work towards it....everyone luvs a girl who is gorgeous,well mannered n who is nice to have conversation....So when u also luv her ur not doing her a favor...right??? and one day she was unable to bear the pressure that her parents were putting on her to push her closer to me.....and she eventually said...I wish I could have met you here like a random guy...with out this pressure on my head...and once she made a decision, all I could do was to say....as u say..... but I cudn't stay in London and came to US staying here.....Once every month I go to the place she works and just try to see her from a distance and I fly back....I cant help that....but I llok at her and come back...she probably doesnt know that I am here | ||

It was actually an arranged affair....her father was the brother of my UG thesis advisor...LOL.....they are tamilians...but her ancestors were from Andhra.....it was something both her parents and my parents wanted to go through..... that actually created a sort of pressure on her from her fathers end who was a professor here | ||

I hate it when people view true emotion as a game..its not a pursuit....I always believed that being honest is the only requisite for leading a proper life....If u love some one deeply...that emotion will flow forth......irrespective of how clever u think u might be........ Humans emotions are beyond the realms of logic...as simple as that....if there cud have been a logical framework that cud have been fitted I wud have certainly tried for that.... But the distance was killing me..... I used to travel to US almost every 15 days from London just to see her for a couple of hours.....for about 2 months...there were times when I used to travel every weekend from UK to US....the immigration guys grilled me once...LOL | ||

Lemme tell you...whatever I did for her...I was initially working at middle office in London....I used to make....almost twice as much I make now......then after I met her and she said that she is averse of long distance relationships....I gave up that job and took one in my US....just to be close to her.. Her problem was that she thought we were culturally very different...she thought I was very much Indian and the fact that her parents loved me so much troubled her....she had issues with her father being very strict....etc...... I knew she liked me....may be not loved...but definitely liked me....her father liked me coz he loved my value for my roots...a standard case of conflict in ABCD's....she was atypical in a way that she very much still thought like an indian but wanted to think that she is not....... When she walked away...I just let her go......no issues....I loved her selflessly....and even she can get happiness without me.....I will be very much up for it | ||

I don't think women like to be smothered with marriage or together for ever kind off heavy literature.....U should make her comfortable first....then make sure ur not too clingy n at the same time not appearing as if u dont care.....Thats a very difficult zone to be in....but u have to find it....or else women will take all our love letters....store them safely in a sandal wood box n then share them with her husband showing how much they r popular b4 marriage.... If at all u ever proposed...ela chesaru...ekkada chesaru.....fun times..... Naa experience...chepthanu....konchem emotional....but EXACT words " A coffee shop...we went around the city for about 8 hours....she was clad earthly red zipper...me in earthly green......Tee.... I say " Lets go to a coffee shop...." She says " There is a starbucks near by...." I said.." something more cozy...some where you and me have more space for ourselves....I don't want those peering eyes....." after 20 mins...I say..."Vid, I have been meaning to talk to you for sometime about this...." " I haven't put forth these words before anyone else thus far in my life..." " It runs quite contrary to my notions of logical continuity but somehow there is stranglehold of helplessness that has gripped me...ever since I met you last.. You are the first thing that crosses my mind when I wake up....and you are last thing that crosses my mind before I loose track of my consciousness.....there is this eerie uneasiness about time and space about every passing day.... You have become the center of my universe so to speak....ever since I came to know you....every thought and act of mine is centered around you......There are times when me being human seems to be a curse....coz I can't cross these physical barriers of distance at will, to be next to you...... I have been writing vid....these poems....numbering 40 as of today..I have never ventured to write before....never ever in my life....I loathed wriitng per se....I always thought that words are mere dalliances devoid of a rigor that other forms of expressions have....but these ...are the testaments of how I wanted to embody every emotion of mine into some sort of tangible whole.... I dont know if it makes sense to say these after knowing you for about 8 weeks... But I think I am truly deeply and madly in love with you...vid...." I choked.....for about 5 mins...there was this silence......as though it was the start of new life itself... and then I say... " I want to grow old with you...vid I want to wake up everyday...look at you and fall in love with you all over once again...every single day I want to see you grow and evolve as a woman and a human being and take pride in it from a distance.... I want to die looking at you...vid...." and then I just couldn't talk....it was as though I ran out of words..... and then all of a sudden she started crying......and then I started crying..couldn't control myself seeing her cry...... and she said....." No one ever wrote me a poem like this...not certainly of this quality...." and I said as almost a retort from sleep......" actually I feel poor that I only knew so many words" |
