For the heck of me, I can't understand how these pre electoral polls make such conclusive depictions on the verdict of the people. 99% of media in India, shamefully, is controlled by corporate vested interests. A media company is run like a bussiness with a profit model which almost always include sensationalism. Eenadu has to lower the chances of Cong cuz its very sustenance is keyed into realizing that prophecy and unfortunately they realize the extent to which 90% of us just take arguments on the back of brand, popular perception and fashionable interpretations. media needs to be a conduit for the Vox Populi reflecting the zeitgeist in the truest sense and what we see today is a shameless act of affectation of people's mandate, the life of democracy. Any news media which goes ahead and depicts the fate of a 600 million electorate on the back of 25000 data points should be laughing at itself for the sheer naivete of the approach. remember the last general elections when NDA sold the India shining campaign. The media largely endorsed it only for 550 million electorate of India thwart NDA and bring UPA to power. That is the power and saving grace of democracy. I am sorry if it hurt your feelings - it was absolutely nothing against you... But it was very misleading ...
