I wish Telugu get the "Ancient Language" status, but India does not have that status. What Central Govt. nodded is for the "Classical Language" status. Q. What does this mean to common man? A. Nothing. Its just satisfying our ego and eye-wash for central govt. That too neither AP govt. (YSR) nor Telugu scholars did as effective job as Kannada guys did for this "Classical tag" who are arch rivals of Tamilians and more envious than anybody else on obtaining this tag. Giving Classical language tag to both Tamil and Sanskrit is pure political and none of the Indian languages qualify for the classical tag. Finally, does anyone in DB translate the world "Classical" in any of the following languages? (Tamil, Sanskrit, Telugu and, Kannada) | ||

Boss - This status is going to increase the Grants to Universities and People involved in teaching Telugu, there by improve their lives. One should look at the "fight and Get Quality". This is why AP people never getting their proper due, because we don't VOICE and Fight for our rights. If you are not happy with the Ancient Status , then THERE IS NO REASON FOR YOU TO FEEL HAPPY FOR ANY OF YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS IN LIFE. BECAUSE NONE OF YOUR VICTORIES CAN REDUCE "CORRUPTION". This is the main difference between CBN and YSR. YSR can fight and get things from center which CBN couldn't do with NDA. Well Done YSR, another feather in your CAP. I feel AP should give one more chance to YSR (like CBN) so that he can do some more good things. Next chance can be given to CHIRU, by that time gets the political maturity |
