The millitary rule is only a temporary phase....its only to clean the scum...I also spoke about the structural changes in the electoral system..... anyone can become a politician these days....lets take chiru...he has a glorious career and he is coming to politics...Iam his biggest fan but people will question wat does he know???exactly....he has done service but eligibilty???debatable............ on the other hand a 20year experienced politician is termed as a praja sevak for 20 years....dats Dog shxt....most of the politician r not praja sevaks....everyone knows dat...... the best possible way to deal with this is..... U have to have a course to become eligible to contest for a MLA or an MP ...or even a ward Councellor..... The course should include topics management.....budgetting....philosophy...politics...an absolute understanding of what they are going to deal when they are going to be chosen as peoples representatives...it would be like a millitary training...U know right how millitary folks perspective towards country changes when they are out of the training..The course work will induce the qualities of patriotism and selflessness in to them along with providing knowledge about the details reqd for becoming a good ruler..and Now once they are done with course work they will be sent to locations all over india for 4 years to serve the people and observe their needs....the total should be a 10 year period course....the deal is U HAVE TO WORK HARD TO BECOME A REPRESENTATIVE...Now once u complete this 10 year course UR eligible to contest for elections....Now PEOPLE HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO CHOOSE FROM A CREME OF ELIGHT AND NOBLE AND HOPEFULLY HONEST FOLKS..... These people will be paid very good salaries....will be provided all the luxuries....those will be the BEST PAID jobs in INDIA.... but constant supervision and vigilance will be there on them through out there term.... THE OLD SCUM HAS TO BE CLEANED FIRST AS THEY WILL OPPOSE SUCH PATTERN..... | ||

this would work atleast to some extent or for some time. however, the deterrent( the dictator or military rule or whatever) may need to be there for longer time. the new patterns should be indelible in people's mind. However, i would think that the progression of any social system is inherently and essentially skewed. so the same thing may repeat in india. I doubt the emotional/moral/prideful self sufficiency of people in india. | ||

We need fckinh Millitary rule for 5 years.....development will take back seat for 5 years.....I was against dat previously but now when u see these corrupt fcuks and people embracing them for watever reasons....They dont deserve democracy at least for awhile.... Now in this time frame for 5 years...There will be prosecutions...Each and every proven corrupt politican will be senetenced to death....And the death will be in public places....like during FRENCH REVOLUTION..... The problem is not lack of ideas. The problem is in implementation. government is the executor. coming to power without money/mandu and other pralobalu is virtually impossible in India. So, essentially whoever comes to power starts recovering the money they spent. The basic idea of entering politics in India is earning money and enjoying the power. Any changes to the status quo is suicidal to the rulers ,other politicians and corporates with vested interests. so, it is virtually not possible to change India. India is left to it's dynamics.if the dynamics turn favorable to change, it will change. otherwise no chance. Change is inevitable but directing the change is not easy. more so in good direction. | ||

Foreget about politics and ideologies, how do you want to develop our country? There are so many brilliant people in this DB, we discuss various issues related to movies, gossips etc, but we never tried to debate on developing our country. We have been here outside our country and we have sen with our own eyes the way western countries are developed. We know the problems and we know the hurdles, but let us discuss what needs to be done in a simple way to develop our country. Especially I am worried about our kids who are the building blocks our future community. We need to provide them good education, health, libraries etc. I have a simple plan for this. 1. We need to inject capitalisism into this. 2. Government has to joing hands with big corporates all over the country. 3. Allot sufficient lands for developing good schools, libraries and hospitals. And thee bottomline is win-win situation for everybody. 4. Important thing identifying the lowest development unit on the basis of population. Of course there are so many other areas to be developed like infrastructure, but I feel the most important area is taking care of our kids. |
