That is not correct or wrong stat. He has righy placed emphasis on irrigation. In fact YSR has done more for Software than CBN. The software exports saw more growth during congress govt. But YSR govt has toatlly ignored infrastructure and long term economic gowth and policies. Corruption has reached max. | ||

I am not a hater of YSR. I appreciate YSR more than CBN. YSR has done a lot compared to CBN. If you look at numbers during CBN time, it makes you sick. But we have to have specific goals and policies first. Then we need strategy to achieve these goals and then spend money for projects to realize those goals. But unfortunaltely that is not happening. YSR government is leaning towards populisitc schemes and leaning towards leftist policies rather than injecting capitalistic values. | ||

NTR also did same thing resulted in total AP economy downturn. YSR government never answered to the famous question of how the money would reach from central to lowest unit of governance that is Panchayati with ot getting chopped by corruption. YSR govt has least bothered about infrastructure. Schools, roads, power are totally neglected. | ||

We don not have hard facts to understand the growth in AP specifically in agriculture and irrigation. Yes YSR govt has put lot of emphasis on irrigation which is good. But we do not know the facts from independent sources. 1. What is the agriculture growth in the last 4 yrs? 2. How much is spent on irrigation and what is the progress of so many of those projects started or in progress or never started? 3. How many poor people have been uplifted from pverty line? 4. What is the long term policy for agriculture? Problem with YSR govt is it does not have a policy rather it responds to day to day challenges and pulls out some policy out of no where. It has been resorting to populistic schemes unabashedly without bothering about the consequences. | ||
