one of the best novels of telugu literature. yandamuri might have been inspired by a movie or a book but he did lot of field work for that. Science or not annadi pakkana pedithe...he travelled to orissa, gathered info from several people on different countsw how it is practised, etc and used those facts to make a very good read. I think this is the first if not the only fiction novel written in telugu with such a vast research on the subject by the author. you can see yandamoori's command through out. Hats off to yandamui. Oka velnnello adapilla....oka tulasidalam saalu yandamuri talent cheppukunenduku....telugu literature really misses writers like him today. | ||

yes, tulasidalam konthavaraku inspired from exorcist...tulasidalam was written during the period of 1981..and a sensatioin in andhra readers....which deals with 'chetabadi' etc... later followed by tulasi, ashta vakra etc...in similar category from same author. couple of people in andhra went mad after reading this book and committed suicide too.... | ||
