bedar my father said he will take ICICI platinum plan....nene ikkada theesukunte melemo ani aapa....I went to immihelp...visitors care ani okadu for $100000 max, $100 deductable $300 for 3 months..vaadu OK na...i don't know about this company..ICICI reputable but India based so karmagali vadalsosthe service ki problem vundada these are the two questions I have. | ||

Taking Insurance in India is cheapest. Buy coverage worth of 100-150K (50 lakhs to 1 crore) the reason being these Indian companies wont get any discount from the providers here. ICICI is good as they have TPA( Thid Party Administrator) based in US. Even United India and New India Assurance sell the policeis Buy Insurance and prey that u shall not use it. The Insurance is basically for peace of mind. Another option if u want to buy is try at http://www.kvrao.org | ||

It would be a mistake if you won't take insurance. I would also not recommend taking insurance in India, paying here in dollars and claiming in india. I think it's risky. It is better to take insurance here and claim here. I have been taking IMG fixed price option. It costs around $330 for 6 months for max limit $50K. I took it 3 times so far for my fater. During the second visit, my father had some illness and paid around $600 for some blood tests and x-rays plus doctor visit. I claimed the amount and they sent a check for that amount without any problem. I recommend using this. The only catch is, if it is not emergency situation, you need to get the pre-approval form the insurance company for the doctor visit. somebody's post in TIDB Right now ICICI health insurance is the cheap and best insurance. It is know as ICICI travel insurance(six months ki around 6-8K Rs padutundi and coverage is for some 50K$). Nenu US vache mundu same dilama unnanu, but took ICICI travel insurance, i purchased a costlier policy which costed me around 14500 rs per one year, kani coverage was for some 100K$. they have tie-up with some insurance cos in usa, you have to just call them up, if you need help, more over insurance can be purchase online, with in few minutes. | ||
