If you have jail breakable Apple TV, i.e 2nd Gen of Apple TV, you dont need any subscription nor any credentials to watch live streams. Just jailbreak it, install XBMC and NaviX addon.... You can have many people sharing the HD live streams online....3rd Gen Apple TV is not jailbreakable and not in recent future, a jailbreak is expected to release....

No need. Apple TV lo "Watch ESPN" app undhi. If your ISP is partner of ESPN network (which is already, because you can watch on iPhone now), you can watch live ESPN streaming on Apple TV.
