apple tv's main feature is airplay...what ever u have on iphone,ipad screen will be mirrored on the TV. apple products unte apple tv worth it...also any movies u own in itunes play in HD with a simple button | ||

purpose yenti? Overall gaa Apple TV antha use vundadu. any Blue ray player tho almost anni stream chesukovachu kadaa(when you are not goign to watch telugu channels). Maa intlo kuda telugu channles mida yevari ki interest ledu. Intlo vunna Samsung BlueRay player tho Netflix,Hulu,youtube etc..anni vasthunnaayi.photos, videos kaavalante USB drive vundi.Inkaa yemi kaavaali?? | ||

i use airplay to watch videos on the phone itself. still the i get constant disconnnect and very slow. my router is next door, should not be signal strength. It is NOT upto Apple standard. youtube works great. | ||

Nope , I guess. Jailbreak chesthe network files(.mkv/.avi) access cheyachu including hard drive files if its somewhere connected in network. But Apple TV3 ki official jailbreak ledu as of now | ||

It depends on your WIFI speed or Site responce anukunta ..I will have little delay issues only with few streaming sites . Local media or youtube wont take much time

i have apple tv ( i already have 2 iphones, 1 mac) and little disappointed with the product. Much talked airplay - once i turn on video, it takes few minutes to show up on tv (after it buffers the video). Usually we take 2-3 mins of videos with the phone. to watch 2-3 mins, i have to wait few minutes. Home sharing- I cannot connect to any computer or NAS unless i install iTunes and share Amazon VOD - There is no Amazon VOD as someone mentioned here other than these, everything else works great. | ||

Apple TV - Good if you have other apple products, which you do. Apart from Netflix, Amazon VOD etc, you have YouTube app. Other than that very limited apps. For any other thirparty content, you can Airplay or do mirroring from macbook. If you have local media, they must be streamed thru iTunes. Roku 3 - Generic device for internet streaming. Comes with Netflix, Amazon VOD etc. No youtube (officially) or indian channels (recently). Local streaming can be done thru PlayOn or Plex but not reliable. | ||
