Believe me! that is not everyone's cup of tea. It is not mine and I am finding it incredibly difficult to cope with my daughter's school circle.
Kaani - manam chinnappudu maamoolu schools lo chaduvu baagaane cheppevaaru... ippudu aa situation ledhu. Maree ghoram gaa unnaayi normal schools. Oka minimum standard unna school ante fees ekkado untundi. Of course there are gems like BVB but getting a seat there needs a reco letter from CBN himself.
Bottomline - YOu should know what you are getting into. It is NOT just the fees.

I have couple of quesitons , just out of curiosity..
1) On what basis did they reject kids applications? If every one is ready to pay their prescribed fee..do they put private bidding for each seat ?
2) Did they follow new rule of 25% of seats for Economically backward class children in every school inlcuding private..
3) Did they check parents history and so how come jagan's kids get the admission.. Now do not ask me about lokesh babu..

My relatives kids go there..
Basically all the important kids go there. Nenu vellina prathi sari 2 door sports car, benz, rolls royce kanipinchindi.
Naku oakridge gurinchi baga thelusu. Happened to meet the founders/owners too.
Maa relatives valla kids batch lo.. Only guy from AP who went to Stanford for undergrad is from Oakridge.
I saw Kodali nani there once by the way...
Oakridge is the new thing. Campus choosara asalu? it's like an Infosys or Wipro campus.
My relatives kids became friends with Akhil Akkineni and lagadapati batch. These kind of relations.. You dont make in RAMAIAH Lol.
When I was in Hyderabad last time I used to drop them from time to time.
Yah recent ga oakridge vallu seattle lo host families tho vundochu ani edo start sesaru. Thelisina valla kids akkada veltunaru and those people from seattle will be sending their kids to Hyderabad.
BTW, the founder of oakridge was a tutor to Prince Harry and his brother... .. That's really
something. I commended him when i met him in Oakridge, nice guy, but I couldnt stop laughing in my head. He was like the stereotypical geek... Bald head, white beard, thick harry potter glasses...
Oka sari oka family tho kalisi oka hyderabad function lo oka vuncle oka chaitanya kid ni adigadu.. Entraaa studies ella vunnayi... He pointed to a relative's kid (oakridge kid) and said.. Nee life eeda laga (pointing to chaitanya kid) kashtam kadu kada ... LOL
The teachers are unique too... Spanish teacher aithe colombia nunchi techaru... I also saw one african teacher from Kenya, and
i asked another teacher if he was an NRI based on the accent, it sounded totally american, yes i used to live in boston but i returned because i liked it better in India ani seppadu..the pay isnt great.. But not everything in life is about money. This man currently runs the IB program i think.
My relatives kids were in the USA since age 5. Middle school dhaka US. You cant just take these kind of kids and throw them in narayana and chaitanyas and expect them to survive.
Thats why i applaud my relatives... Dabbu lekka cheyakunda (they are just upper middle class. Nris) kids preferences ki value icharu
Jagan kids oakridge lo unnaru. Yemo chala mandi politicians kids unnaru. Oka sari yevaro SUV convoys lo vochi gunmen tho diggaru... Khaddar shirt government of india license plate type batch. Unfortunately I had no idea who the guy was.
Naku inko case thelusu.. 2nd grade nunchi high school dhaka US lo vunna girl ni r2i lo parents threw her in some hyderabad university for her bachelors in ECE.
The bathrooms in oakridge... God bless them amma...jubilee hills Meridian lo vunna bathrooms soosanu.. Toilet ki drainage ki pipe ledu.
Oakridge bathrooms were much better.. Administration and guest bathroom was like something from a 5 star hotel. God bless them amma.
Thats what i heard from the columbia kids parents. Maybe it was the B school? He is doing his undergrad in finance...

As someone who is a close relative to kids who have attended oakridge and have told me much about it, and as someone who has visited the campus, been inside, and has spoken to the administration.
Monna Apollo hospitals CP Reddy grandson icchina party kids velte akkada valla parents hooka kosam HELP chesi mari arrange chesaru student party ki. There was lots of liquor too.
Last time I checked Harvard or Stanford didn't check HOW their donors made money.

if u compare with banglore and chennai we are still fair enough.., Hyd is very cheap in terms of commercial properties
