I never see, as per my readings Krishna killed the evil king, Narakasur, in war and got them free. But those women have no where to go as there respective kingdoms had left them to their fate. Krishna accepted them as his wives and gave them an honourable status and shelter. So that it does not create another problem. Krishna when declared all the victims of Narakasur as his wives , he practically made it clear to everyboddy in his kingdom and around that those girls were worthy of respect. Hinduism is a science, it is a doctrine that dictates the way of life, spreading communal harmony and peace, and coexistence.
