@coolmac, I am not familiar with VA demographics. NJ gurinchi chepta. Bulk of desi population lives in Middlesex country, slightly spread over to Somerset/Monmouth counties. People pay pay premiums to buy house near Edison to send their kids to the Edison high school, which is highly reputed. I pulled up the school rankings in NJ. Edison school stands somewhere in 60s. In fact, there are less than 5 schools belong to these counties in top 50. All those top NJ schools have very low desi population and far from Edison. What's the rational behind these stats? | ||

BTW, NJ is not big city. It is a collection of small towns. So far, we never sent out daughter to Kumon, Indian classical music/dance etc. Still straigt A's all along. We encourage her interests which happen to be roller-skating, swimming etc. Naa point enti ante, maa neighrborhood/friends vaalla pilla la activities are totally opposite to ours.
