Quit smoking (if you do smoke now) , quit drinking ( reduce to once in a while) - nicotine and drinks together push you in to a cycle that is very difficult to come out. 2. Spend some time to get back in to shape, if you are not in for gyms or anything like that, do something like yoga which brings out wholesum change in attitude and health. 3. Profession life lo satisfaction ni try to bring it to your personal life. If you are in a major town, try and go to the local temples and spend some time getting to mix with people. Volunteering is a good way to meet new people and build a network. 4. If your situation makes it not possible for you to live in the US (hopefully not) and you have to return back to India, try to do the same there too. 5. Look for a simple girl with simple tastes but with good family connections (as suggested by another member here), try and mingle with her family. If you have your own extended family spend time with them over there and try to rediscover the relations. 6. Try to get associated with some activity that you would like to contribute, could be anything , cooking , reading books, helping with some cause anything that brings you out of your monotony. If you start helping on a voluntary org and get to meet people who have issues ( do not associate with anything to do with depression related stuff you will end up with messed up more). 30 years is too young lot of life ahead. Reinvent yourself, discover the child in you, the helper in you and in the process you will discover yourself. In history there is no such thing as the last word on any subject research leads to new things every day | ||
