You are right, I too got confused with this new Sankara Eye charity this year.
Google returns them as the first result for Sanakra Eye. Got confused.

Last year donate chesinappudu, e confusion ledu.
Some how my personal feeling is these guys are riding on Sankara Nethralaya's name.

Sorry, doesn't meant to hurt anyone or divert the topic...for me #2 is looking like authentic one founded by Kanchi Kamakoti. #1 seems doesn't have any affiliation with Kanchi Kamakoti.

chennai hospital is Sankara Netralaya run by Kanchi Kamakoti peetam. I don;t know both are related or not.
