I used "Hotel Tonight" app on that day (after 12:00pm local time Vegas) and found LVH for $29 a night. Then its all about hopping from one casino to other and finding the one you like to gamble, having drinks everywhere. For shows, try coupons (they are everywhere, I used the one I found in the cab from airport to hotel) or "Half-price tickets" shops. THey are not halfprice most of the time, but cheaper than full price shows at the venues. Half-price tickets lo cheap buffets kooda dorukuthaayi. we bought a buffet in Montecarlo for $8.99 at half-price tickets. 2 shows ki half-price tickets lo konnaa. Jubilee show (this is the old school Vegas show), there was a coupon for buy one get one free, for a celebrity ticket. THis was cheaper than the price quoted by half-price tickets. Paiga show start avvagaaney, front booth (right next to the stage) khaaliga undi ani, mammalni teesukelli stage mundu koorchobettaaru. Checkout Fremont street experience. Nenu unnappudu National Rodeo finals jaruguthunnaayi. INkaa aa theme untundemo, everybody wearing cowboy boots, country singers performing on the streets. IF you are staying for 4 days or less, Las Vegas is enough. Do not try to drive to Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon etc. Vegas is about people....look at the different kinds of people. A lot of beggars with cards. The one I liked said "Why lie, I need beer". Then there was a young couple, when the guy sleeps the girl begs, when the girl sleeps, the guy begs. You will see a lot of women in tears. when we were checking in, one girl was crying saying she got locked out, no shoes, BF not lifting the phone , don't know where he is..blah blahh ANother girl was crying at the bar in Cosmopolitan coz her BF ditched her and left with another girl he met there. Aria, I see a bunch of cute asian girls, fully drunk walking like how they show drunk people in telugu movies. a group of very young (probably just turned 21, but I doubt it, because most of the places in Vegas do not card) supporting each other trying to walk straight on the strip. It was hilarious to see 4 drunk people trying to walk, holding hands to be steady. I did not go to any strip clubs, so can't say anything about it. Good riddance. If you do want to watch (just watch) girls, try the X-Burlesque show in Flamingo. Halfprice tickets lo $35 including tax. VIP seat entho telidu, but it might be worth it as you get front row and a chance of participating on the stage. Biggest tip - stay at the center of the tip if possible, avoid the southern extreme for sure. North lo Venetian and Wynn tarvatha avoid everything. The nearest halfprice tickets outlet at the center of the strip for us, was Bill's gambling hall and saloon, since we were staying next door at Bally's. Planning to celebrate this new Year at Las Vegas. No concrete plan chalked out yet!!!! On jotted lines ---- * Me driving from Oakland,CA to LV on Friday afternoon 12/28 * Reach LV by night sometime or before 10/11 pm 12/28 * J4F driving from Jacksonville,FL to San Jose,CA on new project movement 12/25 * J4F to join at LV by 10/11 pm 12/28 Tentatively planning to stay for next 3 days 12/29, 12/30, 12/31 Return back to California 1/1/2013.....
