yup... I hate cable clutters. Oka 100 ft ethernet cable, CAT6 terminations konna. Kavalisina length cable cut chesi, terminations punch chesta. All cables are tagged, bundled with ties. Moreover, each access point is also wireless with same SSID, same encryption (but different channel) as primary router. So, when I walk around the house, my mobile device picks up the signal from nearest router/access point, total seamless. This is called "wifi-roaming". | ||

for in-house streaming, copying. All my non-mobile devices are on gigabit ethernet. Basement lo GBE switch, whole-house CAT6 wiring, each entertainment location has gigabit Access Point. All devices like Receivers, HTPC, PS3, XBox, Roku, Desktops, Bluray players are wired. Media server in basement is wired to the switch and streams to any device in any room. These are just marketing numbers. I would not give much importance. E4200 (kindha Hyder icchina link) is great router and has proven performance. EA2700 is new series that has App-support (Cisco cloud service). The router performance is not as great as E4200 and cloud apps are not matured. If you need EA series router, wait for one more generation to bake. | ||

Simba, Cisco e4200v2 koni techi install chesaa. No issues. Then i tried to setup old router as Wireless AP in the basement. No luck. Did some research and found that u can't cascade the routers wireless with these E series models. both the routers need to be wired... what a shame !! my old d-link and netgear routers worked just fine on wireless i can't even use wireless range extender as it splits available bandwidth Don't say you don't have enough time.
