Why is always men who say "parents or wife"... Before saying that, think how it would feel if women came in to say "parents or husband"? Coming to the point, all relationships are important and it's best to be clear with everyone from the beginning and to do what is possible for all sides. Don't expect husband to drop everything for wife and wife to drop everything(her background) for husband. Trouble comes when people expect only one side to compromise. Having said that, I do believe that if you are economical affluent in India, there is nothing wrong in extended family structure if everyone has their space. | ||
