LAHORE – The Pakistani umpires in centre of match-fixing revelations by an Indian channels has strongly rebuted the claims and alleged Indian lobby to use such propaganda techniques to distract their masses from the failure of their national team and defame Pakistan. Talking to this scribe here on Monday, PCB elite panel umpire Nadeem Ghouri has said that he often talks to his umpire friends in India on social website but there is no reality in the Indian media’s propaganda. “I have not visited abroad for many years and my passport is a proof of it. I last visited UAE in December 2010 in which I offered my services as an umpire in the series against South Africa,” he said. He added it was Indian lobby which, after Indian team’s insulting defeat in T20 World Cup in Sri Lanka, was using negative tactics to defame Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka and the match-fixing scandal is nothing but a part of their propaganda to slander these countries, thier players and officials.
