no, i don't use live channels much. but have seen people using them. evo konni channels / apps tho kotha english bommalu kuda manchi quality vi choodochu if u r a pirate :-) 160-170 range lo vundi from long time. yeah.. tried Plex and few others on Roku u need media server on pc/laptop for Roku.. i don't like that part With Boxee u can access SMB shares, other network shares as simple files. No media servers needed. You can even have a hard drive connected to wi-fi router and access the content from boxee. No need for pc/laptop at all. Don't say you don't have enough time. Tried almost all of them. Finally, using Boxee. Roku sucks big time while playing 1080p videos. Very limited video format support. WD media player - Better than Roku in handling HD content. Good for local media streaming. Not big on web content. Boxee - Terrific. It can play almost any format. AirPlay supported. Excellent support for local as well as web content. R box - Will play any media files. No separate willow or YT access...but its an android box with a browser...if you have wireless keyboard i think u can access everything on internet. Also u dont need separate box in ur living room since u already use this r-box for your voip/desi tv. | ||

My main requirement is to play streaming content. able to play Willow or any cricet content provider is a must. I have a collection of over 1000 movies in .avi / .mpg etc format, the media player should be able to play all these files (if it can't play few formats it's alright. Roku - Bought this, however Willow TV ille and no Youtube access. Customer service vaadu not avaialble at the moment annadu. Very restricted anipinchindhi, planning on returning. Western Digital MP - Looks like this will fit my requirement, anyone using this? Reliable R Box - Need opinion Google TV / Apple TV? Please, share some thoughts. |
