yupp...I agree.... but actors are different..sometimes they are as good as the directors.... But the excuse of viswanath and bapu not making good movies is TFI not encouraging them is lame...they are not new wannabes...they have a history...just that they ran out of ideas.....as simple as that....viswanath started to show his collapse from that movie with kamal and aamani...I dont think he can never match the magic he created with shankara bharanam and sapthapadhi.....Chiru came to entertain masses..not to educate them...same was done by rajani and amitabh...but tamilnadu had kamal to balance unfortunately we had balayya... | ||

"viswanath and bapu gone cases....have u seen their recent movies..." Then all our heroes also gone cases if you watched their recent movies. You can'judge talened persond based on their recent movies. Basically our telugu heroes don't have any guts and commonsense. So called legends NTR and ANR acted in stupid mass movies in 70s and never cared about telugu film industry.They never tried to experiment with directors like bapu,viswanath etc Both have studios and they can easily produce low budget movies and also never tried for national awards. Coming to current heroes Chiranjeevi: even I'm chiru fan and i can say chiru lost golden opprunity in 90s by acting unnecessary mass movies.Honestly chiru also never tried to improve telugu film standards.Everytime he will give an excuse with rudraveena example.He should have acted with telented directots in his own banner.a good movie can cost him less than 10 crores if he acted in his own banner. Balakrishan:Manytimes he said that vamsam heores only eligible for mythological movies . He inherited crores property from his father,then why can't he produce mythological movies form his own banner Nag : Instead ogf giving opporunities to lawrence ,puri etc he should have encourage talented directors like Aleti,sekar kammula etc Pavan kalyan,mahesh ,jr also following same route and also they are not properly educated .Good education is also important for top heroes now adays . | ||

Vidhu helped a lot with the script for munnabhai first part....second part was done by hirani and a professor in USA who used to teach on gandhian principles... Kareeb was classic for me....The passion was there and again wats missing was the relativity.....audience didnt know which era the movie is set...where it is set....and ofcourse the story too was very very simple.... | ||

Yes..Vinod knew that Bhansali was very talented...In credits, you would see Bhansali's name for Screenplay along with Vinod Chopra and another guy who acted in the film(he acted as francis in Parinda)...Vinod said he wanted to give due credit to Bhansali, so in credits you would see 'songs directed by' Bhansali... Swatimuthyam is not an oscar nominated movie. Sending one film from India every year is not same as getting nominated for Oscars in foriegn film category. Only 3 Indian movies made it to Oscar nominations so far; Mother India, Salaam Bombay and Lagaan. A film that could have made it to Oscar nomination is Bandit Queen, which already made it big at Cannes that year. They couldn;t send it to Oscar as Phoolan sued and Bobby Bedi settled it outside the court and it was too late by then. Forget about Oscars, a telugu film is yet to win a national award in 3 major categories; best film, best director and best actor.
