with Gaali's cashflow gone, and no other positive cashflow, i doubt he would be able to mobilize more than 5000 crores. he might have 1 lakh crores in assets, but that is not liquid. The minute Cong-TDP announce a working relationship to prevent the fall of government before the term ends, it is check-mate for Jagan. Then TDP-Cong just have to sit and watch CBI and Courts do their job. Jagan may go to jail or go free, which does not matter. His political career is like an call option with an expiry date. Well, the point is, to prevent the govt from collapsing due to Jagans brazen money politics. Today, if he were not arrested, he can spend 5000 crores and become the CM. That is the reality. Preventing that kind of constitutional mishap is more important than ideological stance of TDP vs Cong. Once the term completes, they can go their ways, or if Jagan's party is still formidable, continue the partnership to counter balance it. In my view, it's going to be a waiting game against jagan. Jagan's resources will dwindle if not now, in 2 years or 5 years. They will play that waiting game. That would be Congress-TDP strategy. they will rather do a deal with TDP. If Jagan goes to Jail long term and YSRC becomes stronger, I doubt it would, without the money power, but if that happens, most likely Cong-I and TDP will do an alliance post mid-term election if there is one. There is also a possibility of Cong becoming a minority due to 1/3 defection, even in that case, TDP will join hands.
