call the passport office. Better call the airlines and get it in writing. even if you expedite it...you may not get it in time. One drawback is, you have to send the current passport to passport office as well. Therefore, the safe bet is, call the air lines first and get it in writing | ||

6 months undatam safe, but it is NOT mandatory. But, airlines vaallu, okokkadu okko rule follow avuthaaru. not worth taking the risk. I renewed my son's passport in April first week. 3 weeks lo vacchindhi, in normal process. But since it is summer now and most americans travel, it may take more than a month. expedite it | ||

My son's US passport is valid until July 29th. The family might have to travel to India from June 10th through July 15th or so. Are we good (or) do we have to renew his passport since the passport is nearing its expiry? |
