Coaching centers for GT sounds funny....From what I have seen (in CA, NC)....private school kids are atleast a grade or 2 ahead than the best public school kids. Are the VA public schools with these special programs comparable to private schools?

when we bought our first home, our priority was to be close to at least one of our offices, we decided it should be HD's, we first looked for a good day care and school district around her office and then zeroed in on the location. No complaints so far, and within one year 100K raise ayyayi prices in my street :-)

Both are good right now...Floris probably little better than McNair, but if your kid gets into GT, he will end up in McNair because it is the GT center. I have lived in McNair and loved every bit of it, it is like mini desam, my kids could go out and play with 50 other kids. From kids point of view, keka assalu.
