I do not know but I feel famous umpires during those days did favor to famous batsmen anduke vallu famous ani ..
like swarupkishan did not gave richards out when he was plumb against kapil in one match i saw ..
same thing with couple of english umpires and Austrlian umpires
they are all trigger happy when it come to tailenders but very cautious and give the benefit of doubt to always famous people ..
Nuetral umpiring and DRS are doing lot better |
