I R2I 2 yrs ago and could not come back due to visa issues. initially I was dejected as I was earning peanuts in India, but things have turned around not in terms of money but my lifestyle. what used to be a hobby is now turning into professional assignments. investing that earnings into business so that by the time I decide to go full time in 2 yrs, there is hardly anything I need to invest. life is good. I probably would be earning and saving more in US, but the end of the day, does it really matter? I want to live , going forward, every moment of my life doing things I always loved to do, spend time with my loved ones, and if god willing give some back to the needy life is good. | ||

I returned to india 2 years back after staying in USA for 10 years after resigning very secured job.Everybody said i was doing wrong thing.But after thinking about it for 2 to 3 months i finally decided to move back to India.Now me and my wife are happy for taking that decision. Now i started an industry for making paper products(www.rheaindustries.com).20 people are working in my factory.All i wanted to say is nothing is perfect.Every where you have pros and cons,all you need is clarity and patience.All i had when i returned to India is around around 2 crores of property.I spent 60lakhs on 3bhk flat and car etc.60lakhs put in bank for fixed deposits in turn getting 10% monthly interest and invested remaining in business.Now i am making around 1 lakh per month.I hope this information will help anybody to take right decision who wish to r2i. |
