Long back.. just around the time he made his test debut.. I was working in bangalore. I was on my bike at a red light (near residency road i think) there was this maruti car right besides with windows down and Rahul dravid was at the wheel.. my friend told me it might be rahul dravid.. we asked the man if he was rahul dravid indeed and he said yes with a shy smile we shook hands while the lights turned green and drove by the side of the car... he was so down to earth when we said all the best he said thank you and same to you again with that disarming smile. i never realized then I was talking to a future legend..
