Basky, " circumstances under which" How can we fault her for circumstances? Every leader has some hidden motive for his/her actions. Everyone makes their decisions under certain circumstances or with some motives. As per initial information, she was reluctant to come into politics after her husbands death, but these idiot congress leaders are the one who forced her to come into politics. So, all we have to do now is to compare among all other leaders (including congress and opposition parties) and support the best available leader. I think she is as good as any other leaders that are available there. | ||

I am denying that there is no GREAT leader in congress who can pull the party out of Gandhi family's HASTAM. It is not the fault of Sonia. If every leader of the congress party wants to listen to her, it is not her fault. It is those leaders fault. In the end if she cann't win people's heart, she will be pulled down by the same leaders who are hailing her now. It is true with any leader in any party. Bottom line who ever can get votes, they will become leader in ANY PARTY. Unfortunately, there no other leader in Congress party who can fecth votes from all corners of the country. But she is as qualified as anyone else and our constitution doesn't prohibit NATURALIZED CITIZENS from becoming PM. If other leaders want to change that, let them get enough lawmakers to change the constitution. Don't fault Sonia for all these things. | ||

Sonia is more than qualified to lead the country. Just because she was waitress during her college days or some 40 years back, how does that disqualify her? Coming to the point that she is a foreigner, she is an INDIAN citizen now. In our HINDU culture, once a girl from outside the family comes to our house as a BAHU, she is no longer outsider, she belongs to same family. After a while, the same new BAHU becomes the leader of the family. So going by that standard also she can become PM any day as she has been INDIAN since long time. | ||
