Ramgopal verma one of the most overrated directors in india.... okey shot ni naalugu ..iidhi angles tho shoot chesi dhaantlo best one pick chesukuntey adhi direction iipodhu....his characters are monotonous right from jagapathi babu in gayam to Big B in sarkar....he stood out among his contemporaries for his inclination towards reality in movies...nothing more than that...the best movie achievement from him was SATYA ...he excelled himself in that movie...but the credit also goes to anurag kashyap fpr providing an excellent script....Kaun was another master piece....Company was another outstanding achoevement but according to the Verma from his own words 60% of that movie was shot ny his assistants with no guidance from him...once anurag left him to make his own movies Varma started to suck big time...his only hit Sarkar was because of BigB... The background music in his movies are horrible...govinda govinda in sarkar...wats the relevance of that music to the shot coming on screen....there is no synchronization...every movie and every shot of him is a direct lift from international cinema.....if anyone followed all the popular movies from 70s to 90s they know wat iam talking about..... | ||
